PHALANX - 3Gen - Blue

The third generation of the closure with the Framelock-Flipper safety system is a light and practical helper for everyday carry (EDC). I made the blade from core stainless damascus with an Elmax center. The supporting structure of the knife (frame) is made of brushed DLC-coated titanium and the inserted handles are made of RainbowZr (composite of titanium and zirconium) with colored anodization. A floating partition defined by anodized titanium spacers is made of the same material. A brushed DLC coated titanium clip is located at the back of the handle. The internal mechanical parts (ceramic bearings and locking ball) are ceramic for the lowest possible friction.
